Tankoa Yachts in Italy has unveiled plans for the T680 Fenice, a 223-foot motoryacht with a steel hull, aluminum superstructure and exterior styling by Enrico Gobbi of Venice-based Team for Design.
The T680 Fenice’s centerpiece is an open-air lounge aft on the main deck, encompassing an area of more than 1,000 square feet. It’s essentially a multilevel beach club with an infinity-style pool, gymnasium, spa and lounge. Folding balconies on either side of the hull further increase the space.
Inside, the salon has full-height windows for panoramic views. Forward on the main deck are two VIP staterooms and four en suite guest staterooms, also with larger windows. The master is up one level with a walk-in closet, marble-lined bathroom and access to a private foredeck with a glass-front hot tub. That foredeck space can also serve as a touch-and-go helipad.
Crew’s quarters are on the lower deck, along with the galley, hospital room and side-loading tender garage. Guest dining is on the upper deck, in a space that can be enclosed or semi-open to the elements—also with opening balconies.
What’s the projected performance for the Tankoa T680 Fenice? With twin Caterpillar 3516Es, Tankoa says the yacht should have a top speed of 16.5 knots and a cruise speed of 15 knots. Range at 12 knots is expected to be 5,000 nautical miles.
