Lomac’s GranTurismo 12.5 Cruiser builds on the hull of the company’s previous cruiser of similar length but adds interior volume. The Milan, Italy-based builder converted that volume into an upgraded accommodations plan. The RIB’s hull is built using isophthalic vinylester resin and a vacuum-infusion process, while its tubes are built using a strong and lightweight multiaxial fabric.
Owners can spec their rides with two or three outboards (up to 900 max horsepower), which hang just abaft an aft-deck seating area. A center console with a windshield provide protection when the boat is underway, and the bow area is a great location for relaxing when the anchor is set.
Whom It’s For: Anyone seeking the performance of a coupe and the sensibilities of a sport wagon.
Picture This: It’s windy on San Francisco Bay, but your friends want an on-the-water tour of Angel Island and Richardson Bay. So, you load up your Lomac GranTurismo 12.5 Cruiser and showcase its ability to tackle sea-breeze-against-ebbing-tide chop. Better still, you’re back for dinner at Perry’s on Union Street.
