The Italian Sea Group has launched Raja², a 180-foot motoryacht with a gross tonnage of 499. Delivery is scheduled for this spring.
“Raja² embodies bold and sophisticated luxury, combining exquisite materials and harmonious contrasts to create a unique and exclusive experience,” Gianmaria Costantino, CCO of The Italian Sea Group, stated in a press release. “Every detail is designed to offer not only beauty, but also comfort and functionality.”
Design is by the builder’s in-house Style Center, with management by IYC and Med Waves Charters. The yacht is expected to join IYC’s charter management fleet based in Athens.
Design-wise, there’s an expansive use of glass along the superstructure to create an indoor-outdoor experience on board. The sharp, modern bow is intended to emanate strength and presence, while the open stern allows for relaxation areas with direct access to the water.

On two levels aft, there are dining areas and loungers. The sundeck has a hot tub and multiple sunbathing spots, while the upper deck has a circular lounge that converts into a touch-and-go helipad. The yacht’s garage accommodates a 26-foot tender along with watertoys.
Inside, Raja² has numerous marble surfaces with intricate 3D details, moldings and decorative frames. Black marquina and calacatta gold marble are used, along with white Carrara and rich brown Port Saint Laurent. Woodwork is Canaletto walnut along with sandblasted or bleached dark chocolate oak. Natural-tone leathers are also used, with accents in burnt orange and deep wine red. Mirrored surfaces reflect light and water, enhancing the sense of openness on board.
Accommodations are for 12 guests in six staterooms, with six cabins for as many as 11 crew.
What’s the power package aboard the yacht Raja²? There are twin Cat C32 Acert engines for a reported maximum speed of 18 knots and a cruising speed of 16.5 knots. Range is 3,500 nautical miles at 10 knots.
