Benetti Yachts in Italy has launched Alunya, which is Hull No. 2 of the B.Now 50M Oasis Deck model. Delivery to the owners is scheduled for late July.
The 164-foot, four-deck yacht is built with a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure. Power is a pair of 1,400 hp MAN V-12 engines. Two 118-kilowatt Kohler generators are also on board. Benetti says range is 4,500 nautical miles at 12 knots, with a maximum speed of 15 knots.
The B.Now 50M has Benetti’s Oasis Deck, which is a redefined stern that incorporates hydraulic terraces to port and starboard. They extend the width of the deck to create a beach club that’s more than 385 square feet with a glass-wall infinity pool.
“The B.Now 50 model is certainly one of the most popular models in our history, and the addition of the Oasis Deck made it possible to offer new options to all owners who enjoy close contact with the sea,” Sebastiano Fanizza, Benetti’s chief operating officer, stated in a press release.
Brokerage company TWW Yachts introduced the buyer to the shipyard and acted as the owner’s representative throughout the build process.
British studio RWD was responsible for the concept design and exterior styling, with naval architecture by Italian studio PierLuigi Ausonio Naval Architecture. Benetti’s in-house HUB Design worked with the owners on the design and configuration of the interior spaces.
What else is happening at Benetti Yachts? The yard recently launched a 220-foot, fully custom yacht known as FB285NK, with exteriors by Cassetta Yacht Designers and interiors by the owner.
