Zeelander Z68
The team at Zeelander in Holland is celebrating the introduction of their new flagship, the Z68, to the U.S. market during the recent Palm Beach and Miami Beach boat shows in Florida.
The flybridge cruiser, which joins the builder’s Z44 model, was developed to offer panoramic views from the wheelhouse and salon. With the standard version, owners can choose various exterior paint colors and personalized interior decors. Other features include composite teak decking for minimal maintenance not only on outdoor decks, but also on steps and the swim platform. A tender garage on the foredeck keeps the aft area clear for guest use.
Further customization is available. For instance, the hull displayed at the recent boat shows had owner-requested sauna/steam showers in two bathrooms.
A pair of 900-hp Volvo Penta IPS 1200s turning 2,300 rpm generate a cruising speed of 25 knots and a top speed as high as 32 knots, according to the builder.
