Monaco Yacht Show 2010
There are boat shows and there are boat shows. The Monaco Yacht Show is, well, the show of shows. From September 22 to 25 this year, his Serene Highness Prince Albert II opens up his tiny and glamorous principality to some of the world’s most spectacular superyachts. 100 vessels, ranging from 25 to over 90 meters long — including about forty brand new builds — will line the Mediterranean quays. Amongst the attendees will be the largest yacht at the show, the 90+-meter Nero, a 2008 Burgess. A few of the builds making their Monaco debuts will be the 61-meter Roma, by Viareggio Superyachts, and Go, a 39-meter Feadship, both built in 2010.
With so many beautiful superyachts on display, it’s natural that the Monaco Yacht Show also features some of the world’s raciest tenders. There will be 27 of them on display this year, ranging from the 5.5-meter Castoldi jet tender to the 10-meter Wahoo Barracuda.
