Monaco-based yacht builder Wally recently launched Tango at the Persico Marine Facility on Italy’s famed Ligurian coast. As of presstime the boat was scheduled to be delivered to her happy owner any day now. Though she will make her official debut at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show in late September, and then later on make her racing debut against the other three members of the wallycento fleet at Les Voiles de Saint Tropez.

The 47.5-ton Tango will have her main salon aft, an engine room and service areas at amidships and her accommodations forward — all of which helped Wally achieve an optimal center of gravity, according to the company. As should not be surprising to fans of Wally, the mega yacht will have dramatic lines that grab eyes the moment the boat sails into harbor. That’s a trait the company has staked its claim on since its founding, and one that this boat will do nothing to denigrate.
