Van Der Valk Shipyard in the Netherlands has delivered the 75-foot flybridge motoryacht Joy to a client in the Mediterranean. She’s the 10th flybridge hull of this size that the yard has produced since the design was introduced eight years ago.
Propulsion is a trio of 600-horsepower Volvo Penta IPS800 engines with joystick control. They produce a cruising speed of 19.2 knots and a top speed of 24 knots, according to the builder.
For stabilization underway and at anchor, there’s a Seakeeper 26 gyroscope. The yacht’s owner also requested that she be built to RINA classification for recreational craft, to enhance future resale value.
How many people can sleep on board? The yacht has four ensuite staterooms, including a full-beam master. There also are two cabins for crew.
