Uniesse is launching a new yacht series starting with its 56 Super Sport Yacht. The 56SS will be the entry point in a line that includes plans for a 65-, 70- and 90-footer.
The 56SS has a sleek, low profile, accentuated by hull-side, tinted glass extending from the forepeak VIP to the full-beam master amidships. The glass has a knifelike shape and seemingly lowers the 56SS’s profile even more. The rake of the forward windshield enhances the vessel’s chic, yet strong aesthetic.
Supporting her take-on-the-ocean look, the 56SS has a fiberglass hull, reinforced at the bow, spray rail and engine room. Additional stiffening comes from a series of transversals and longitudinal stringers comprised of unidirectional and woven roving fiberglass.

The 56SS go-anywhere feel also has a go-anywhere, three-stateroom, two-head layout for the cruising family. The yacht’s amidships master staterooms is full-beam (15 feet 5 inches), a benefit of IPS propulsion. There is a queen berth and an en suite head has a shower stall and separate toilet with a sink between these spaces. The head’s soles, sink and countertops are marble. There is also a forepeak VIP with queen berth and abaft to port is a guest cabin with twins.

The 56SS’s salon setup includes a C-shaped settee and table to starboard, and is within ear shot of the helm and companion seats forward and to port. The salon sole is wood selected by the owner from Uniesse’s catalogue. The same applies to carpet, fabrics and leather choices.

For the at-sea chef, this yacht’s galley is down five steps from the salon. The raked front windows and side windows keep the space bright and airy.

If you need even more light, and some fresh air, there is a retractable hardtop over the helm and salon.

Notable standard equipment for the 56SS includes a Garmin chart plotter, displays and autopilot, bow thruster, 72,000-Btu tropical air conditioning system, teak cockpit and hydraulic swim platform, Humphree Interceptors and Miele appliances, including four-burner cooktop, dishwasher and microwave.
