Yachting‘s executive editor Kevin Koenig was lucky enough to get a tour of the Astondoa 110 Century recently, with the yacht’s owner. Being an Astondoa, you can expect that the boat will be sturdily built, and expertly crafted using the 100 years of knowledge the family-owned company has accrued since it was founded.
But here’s something you might not be expecting. The owner’s wife has a bit of a, well, let’s call it a thing for shoes. As of filming, she owned 287 pairs of them. She didn’t see fit to bring all of them on the boat with her, but she did ask Astondoa to accommodate a modest 75 pairs onboard. A request that the builder was happy to oblige, thanks to the high level of customization it offers its customers. Here, we get a close look at all of the custom stowage space in the 110’s master, where, trust us, there’s room to spare.
