Zeelander Yachts in the Netherlands has revealed the first details about the Zeelander 5, a 48-foot model that is scheduled to launch in early 2022.
Zeelander says the Zeelander 5 will be the quietest boat in its class (we hope to see more details about that claim soon). The Zeelander 5 is the second generation of the models that started with the Z72, which launched in 2019 and will be rebranded as the Zeelander 7.
“The exterior is a continuation of the lines of the successful Z72, and the interior design is truly exceptional for a yacht of this size,” Sietse Koopmans, the yard’s founder and owner, stated in a press release. “The Zeelander 5 builds on the achievements of its predecessors, harnessing the exceptional quality and attention to detail for which Dutch yards are famous.”
What will the power package be? As many as three Volvo Penta IPS drives. Volvo Penta’s Assisted Docking feature will also be on the boat.
