Beneteau Yachts is releasing details about the Gran Turismo 45, a motoryacht that is expected to be on display and available for purchase beginning in September.
The Gran Turismo 45 has a length overall of 48 feet, 5 inches, and a beam of 13 feet, 8 inches. Draft is 3 feet, 9 inches. Fashion plates are affixed to the hardtop and engine air intakes, finished in metallic gray paint that’s reminiscent of a sports car.
Two layouts are available. The standard layout has two ensuite staterooms, with the master amidships and the guest stateroom forward at the bow. (Scissor berths in the guest stateroom can be set up as twins or a double.) In the standard layout, there’s a seating area to starboard with a dinette table. The optional layout replaces that table with a third cabin that has upper and lower berths.
Onboard features include a hydraulic swim platform, a sunroof in the hardtop, and an optional Bimini top for the foredeck. The tender garage has an electrically operated door, and there’s a grill housed in the sundeck extension for alfresco meal prep.
What are the engine choices on the Gran Turismo 45? Owners can go with twin 380-horsepower Volvo Z-Drive D6s or with twin 440-horsepower Volvo D6 IPS600s.
