Heesen Yachts in the Netherlands has sold Project Oslo24, a 164-foot yacht in the builder’s 50-meter Steel Class. Delivery to the owner is scheduled for March 2024.

Project Oslo24 is the fifth yacht that Heesen sold during 2020, and the second that the builder sold during the month of December. The buyer plans to serve as the yacht’s captain, and has specified the captain’s cabin as his private office.

The yacht will have a hybrid propulsion system with diesel and electric motors that can run together or separately. Silent cruising is one of the features. The diesels will be MTU 8V 4000 M63s, and they’ll be coupled to 135-kilowatt Danfoss electric motors running on the same prop shafts.

For cruising under bridges, Project Oslo24 will have a folding mast, giving her a clearance of about 44 feet.

Luca Dini Design & Architecture will handle interiors, including the master stateroom forward on the main deck. Guest staterooms, one of which spans the yacht’s beam, will be belowdecks.

Project Oslo24 will have a glass-bottom pool and a fire pit: The pool will be on the aft deck above the beach club, allowing natural light into the wellness areas below. Forward on the yacht will be a fire pit.
