Sanlorenzo Yachts in Italy is building Hull No. 1 of the 57Steel, which will have a length overall of 186 feet along with a hybrid diesel-electric propulsion system.
The yard worked with Studio Zuccon International Project on the 57Steel, which will have five decks and come in at 1,000 gross tons. The wheelhouse, which normally would be forward on the upper deck, is instead on a proper bridge deck.
On the upper deck, the owner’s stateroom will be a 580-square-foot space overlooking a private owner’s deck. The VIP stateroom will be full beam and forward on the main deck.
“The versatility of use that distinguishes the spaces on board is a key element of the 57Steel, which makes it possible to satisfy the many requests of a diverse and multicultural market like that of superyachts,” Bernardo Zuccon stated in a press release.
Additional features include a swimming pool with a transparent floor aft on the main deck. Light flows through there and down to a beach area that measures nearly 1,200 square feet. Opening hatches on three sides of the beach area can be used as teak beaches. The yacht’s garage is at the bow, able to accommodate toys and tenders nearly 25 feet long.
A deck below the lower deck will house the laundry, cold stowage and other crew spaces.
How many guest staterooms will be aboard? The layout allows for as many as seven.
