Evo Yachts has scheduled the debut of the Evo R6 Open for the Cannes Yachting Festival this fall.
Valerio Rivellini designed the 59-foot yacht, which is an open version of the Evo R6 flagship of the builder’s R line that launched last year.
The Evo R6 Open has a steel roll bar in place of the T-top, as well as a retractable Bimini top that shades the helm and forward dining area. There’s sunbathing forward and aft, along with a multifunctional swim platform.
As with all Evo Yachts models, the after section of the yacht has an XTension bulwark system that opens out and sideways at anchor. With the XTension deployed, space on board increases by 40 percent.
Belowdecks, the Evo R6 Open has a dinette, an owner’s stateroom, space for guests to sleep aft, and two heads.
How fast does the Evo R6 Open go? According to the builder, the yacht achieves 35 knots with Volvo Penta IPS engines.
