When Baltic Yachts in Finland launched the 175-foot Pink Gin VI in 2017, she was the world’s largest carbon-fiber sloop as well as the second-largest yacht the builder had produced in its nearly half-century history.
The owner, apparently, wanted more.
This past September, Damen in the Netherlands delivered the 150-foot support yacht Pink Shadow to the same owner, who plans to use both vessels for regatta racing and more.
Damen is calling the combination a whole new approach to luxury cruising under sail.
“With a Yacht Support like Pink Shadow, owners can enjoy the true sailing experience and racing performance, while also enjoying top capability for guest services, equipment and storage,” managing director Rose Damen stated in a press release.
