Amels and Damen Yachting in the Netherlands, together with Moran Yacht & Ship in the United States, has sold a the Amels 242 Project Shadow for delivery in autumn 2021.
Tim Heywood designed the yacht for Dutch builder’s Limited Editions range. Interiors will be by Winch Design.
Project Shadow will have a dedicated owners’ deck with foredeck hot tub, an increased-capacity helideck and the latest Tier III clean emissions power and propulsion package.
“We have a very challenging project to achieve all the owners’ requests in a short time frame,” Rose Damen, managing director at Damen Yachting, stated in a press release. “However, we know the boat very well, and we have an excellent and experienced project team working on the yacht together with the owners’ team and our co-makers. I’m extremely confident that we will deliver another beautiful Limited Editions yacht on time and on budget for her owners.”
How many Amels 242s have been built in the Limited Editions range? Project Shadow will be the sixth.
