Horizon yachts built 98 hulls of its 82-foot model from 1999 to 2015. The yacht’s raked superstructure and sky lounge gave the trideck a relatively low profile.
Our review model accommodated six guests in three staterooms, with quarters for two to three crew.
Various twin-diesel options were available, starting with 1,550 hp Caterpillars. During our sea trial, cruise speed was 18 knots; top-end speed was 21 knots .
At press time, we found five Horizon 82s for sale, ranging in price from $1.49 million for a 2001 model to $1.98 million for a 2008 version.
