Overmarine Mangusta 132
The Overmarine Group has sold Hull No. 1 of the Mangusta 132, with delivery scheduled this summer to a previous Mangusta client.
She’s the fourth new model in the Maxi Open Mangusta line, which premiered two years ago. The other three models are the 94, 110 and 165E. (Look for our feature about the 165E in the March issue of Yachting.)
Of the 132, Group Commercial Director Francesco Frediani says, “This model was created in line with the group’s strategic development plan, through which it has been both extending and renewing our range over the last few years, as well as focusing on dimensional growth and greater efficiency, or better, maintaining a high performance with increasingly lower consumption.”
The Mangusta 132 is designed to be racy and sporty, with main-deck glazing, an aggressively styled flybridge and a spacious sundeck. (A second helm is an option.) The hull incorporates hydrodynamic improvements seen on the Mangusta 165, and propulsion includes water jets plus zero-speed gyroscopic stabilizers for use at anchor as well as underway.
Interiors can be personalized through Overmarine’s design department. The owner of Hull No. 1 chose a four-cabin layout with an additional salon on the lower deck. The standard model will have five staterooms.
