Northrop & Johnson says the owner of the 145-foot Benetti Checkmate has dropped the yacht’s asking price by $1,410,000. The new asking price is $14,990,000.
Checkmate launched in 2013 and most recently was refitted in 2018. She was Benetti’s 100th fiberglass hull, and the first 145-foot Benetti Vision with panoramic hull port lights and a sundeck day head.
Inside, Checkmate has a sky lounge larger than those aboard other Benetti 145s. It has a 270-degree dining space that can be enclosed or open to the fresh air.

Accommodations are for 10 to 12 guests in five staterooms. The master has a private foredeck and a study.
