Sessa Marine will introduce its new C38 and C44 at the 2018 Düsseldorf International Show, the first of 6 new models in a year that also marks the boatbuilder’s 60th anniversary.
The C38 and C44 have upgraded interiors and exteriors, designed by Christian Grande in collaboration with Centrostiledesign. One significant design change is each model’s hullside windows, which “follow the new trend of the shipyard,” the builder says. Besides adding style to the profile, the windows increase belowdecks lighting. The cockpit is getting brighter as well, with the hardtop’s electric sunroof. Both models also have hydraulic swim platforms and a sun pad on the foredeck.
The C38 is powered by twin 300 hp Volvo Penta D4 sterndrives and has a reported 36-knot top-end. The yacht accommodates 4 guests in two staterooms: a master stateroom forward and a guest stateroom with twin berths abaft and to starboard.
The C44 is powered by twin 435 hp Volvo Penta IPS 600 D6 engines. She reportedly tops out at 38.2 knots. Owners can opt for a tender garage or an extra-long cockpit, sans garage. This yacht also accommodates 4 guests, but with a guest stateroom with double berth forward while the amidships, full-beam master has an athwartships double berth.
