Sanlorenzo Yachts in Italy filed a year-end report for 2016 showing that it launched its 30th motoryacht and earned profits of more than $10.5 million.
The 2016 production year also included the debut of “I,” Sanlorenzo’s 11th SD112. She was built for a Belgian owner.
Sanlorenzo also expanded its shipyard capabilities in 2016, acquiring a production site in La Spezia. It joins the existing sites in Ameglia and Viareggio. The facility in La Spezia will focus on the design and construction of metal hulls from 131 to 262 feet length overall.
