The history of Rybovich dates to 1942 with young B-17 pilot Tommy Rybovich. While serving in Italy during World War II, Rybovich penned boat designs during his downtime. The Rybovich family recently released a quiz Tommy aced during his military days, and on the back of the quiz is a doodle of a craft that is the spitting image of Miss Chevy II, the first Rybovich sport-fishing boat, a vessel that led the family to become boatbuilding legends.
