Rosetti Superyachts and Rolls-Royce Marine have unveiled a concept for a 278-foot supply yacht.
The expedition vessel is designed by Tommaso Spadolini and is intended to be built at Rosetti’s shipyard in San Vitale, Italy.
Two versions are available. One places the helipad amidships, and the other has it aft. Each arrangement is about 2,200 gross tons and able to carry multiple tenders on deck. Owners also can opt to replace the salon beneath the helipad with a helicopter hangar.
Aft, a garage to port can hold two more tenders plus personal watercraft, while a guest area to starboard has a massage parlor, sauna, dressing room and head leading to the beach club aft with gymnasium and foldout platforms.
The main deck has four en suite guest staterooms and additional quarters for crew or staff. A full-beam owner’s deck has its own dining room plus a forward lounge, study and access to the foredeck with pool. Aft on this deck is a space that can be laid out as a media room or sky lounge.
On the lower deck are a galley, crew mess, lounge and quarters for 12 crew. The captain’s cabin is on the bridge deck.
Power plants: Rolls-Royce spec’d a diesel-electric propulsion system with four MTU 16V 4000 diesel engines combined with an Azipull system. Expected top speed is 20 knots with a cruising speed of about 15 knots.
