Italian builder Rosetti Superyachts debuted its newest concept at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show, the RSY 52m Supply Vessel.
Sometimes a yacht range comes from the same designer’s pen, but “we love to work with different architects to offer different approaches to the same category of yachts,” says Fulvio Dodich, Rosetti’s Chairman & CEO. The builder’s 42- and 85-meter supply vessels were both designed by Tommaso Spadolini while its new 52-meter vessel was created in collaboration with Giovanni Griggio from Phi Design Lab.
Owners will be able to fill the yacht’s 1,528-square-foot aft deck with items like an aft-deck helipad, an outdoor lounge area or watertoys, and a glass-bottomed swimming pool will be directly forward. Should the owner choose the helipad option, there’s still plenty of lounge space below it since the tender garage transforms into a beach club via fold-out hull sides. Forward of that fold-out garage is a gym and spa area filled with natural light through the pool.
As for her interior, the 52-meter’s main-deck salon was designed with vistas in mind. Two chaise-style lounges face each other against the portside windows, and in the middle of the room, two settees sit back-to-back and facing the windows. Forward of the salon is a formal dining area that seats 10 guests, and her galley with crew access is beyond that. Finally, there full-, main-deck master stateroom forward, where her owner will enjoy a walk-in closet and en suite head with double access.
Belowdecks, the 52m Supply Vessel has 4 guest staterooms with either double berths or twins. The crew quarters forward also have 4 cabins, while the captain will have a cabin next to the wheelhouse.
The yacht’s foredeck can house a second tender, but her upper level is far from utilitarian: guests can kick back with dinner and a movie on her sun deck. With its optional open-air movie theater and alfresco dining services (it’s connected to the galley via food lift), plus its space for sunbathing, this area might be a guest favorite.
