Raymarine has released details about its RVX1000 3-D chirp sonar, which is the sonar system behind its flagship line of Axiom XL multifunction displays.

According to Raymarine, the RVX1000 can be customized with transducer options. It has dual transducer ports, one that supports a Raymarine RealVision 3D transducer system and another that supports Airmar broadband chirp transducers.

The design allows functionality for RealVision 3D, Chirp DownVision and SideVision, High-Frequency Chirp (which works to 900 feet) and 1kW Chirp (which works to 5,000 feet).

The Axiom ML screens come in 16-, 19-, 22-and 24-inch sizes. The system has a multitude of transducer options to fine-tune the view under your vessel. Raymarine

What else is available? Owners of Raymarine eS and gS Series systems can upgrade RVX1000 sonar, for free, to the LightHouse 3 Operating system.
