Otam has launched its highly customized 85 GTS.
The 85 GTS has twin 2,600 hp MTU diesels matched to Arneson surface drives, propelling the yacht to a reported top hop of 45 knots. The builder says that at 35 knots the yacht has a 350-nautical-mile range. The 85 GTS holds 2,111 gallons of diesel.
Umberto Tagliavini of Marine Design and Services and Otam CEO Gianfranco Zanoni collaborated with the owner to develop this yacht. French-based Joseph Dirand Architecture designed the yacht’s interior. This version of the 85 GTS has a classic style, and its deck and exterior spaces have been covered with teak.
A semi-open hard top also comes with the 85 GTS.
Belowdecks, there is 60 square feet of space and two master-sized staterooms, each paired with en suite heads. The full-beam master stateroom is centrally positioned with about 21 square feet of real estate. The second, forepeak VIP stateroom has approximately 13 square feet of space. There is also a crew cabin for two.
The Otam 85 GTS is scheduled to debut at the 2019 Cannes Yachting Festival in September.
