Van Oossanen Naval Architecture and Italian yacht designer Federico Fiorentino have teamed up to create a new yacht concept, the 156-foot long Fast Displacement XL 300 Sport. Once the build is complete it will be put on the market by Thom Conboy, president of the Americas of OCEAN Independence. The yacht is projected to be able to hit close to 30 knots at full speed.
She’ll also have a 6-foot draft that will let her cruise skinny-water destinations like the Bahamas with minimal worry for the captain and owner. As for amenities, the boat will have five staterooms, including a main deck master, as well as crew’s quarters in the bow.
A helipad and an infinity pool will give this build true mega yacht bona fides. The hull is expected to be made out of aluminum, while the engine choice will be twin 2600 hp MTU 16V2000 M96L diesels.
