Reimagine. It means to reinterpret something imaginatively. To rethink. Ocean Alexander and a longtime collaborator, yacht designer Evan K. Marshall, might have redefined the term reimagine with the builder’s latest megayacht, the 90R.
One look at the yacht’s open-plan salon, and your eyes are immediately drawn to the sole-to-ceiling windows and formal dining area forward, easily connected to or closed off from the galley forward via a sliding wall panel. Cut-down bulwarks amidships offer impressive vistas from the dining table. Then there is the clever social-space-defining island bar just to starboard of the dining table, a perfect choice for a pre-meal aperitif with guests.
And like the salon, the 90R’s main-deck master forward is bathed in natural light, thanks to the expansive use of structural glass that flank the king-size berth. Glass is also key to the yacht’s enclosed beach club. The seaside lounge can be set up in myriad ways, and provides uninterrupted ocean views and stargazing simultaneously.
But these features only scratch the surface of this magnificent megayacht. There’s more. Much more. Step aboard the Ocean Alexander 90R with Yachting, and see what can happen when a builder rethinks what’s possible and then makes it a bluewater-capable, oceangoing reality.
