Okean Yachts’ 50 Flybridge Motor Yacht will debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in November, representing the Brazilian builder’s first foray stateside.
HMY Yacht Sales, Okean’s exclusive dealer, will introduce the brand as well as its 50 Flybridge Motor Yacht. HMY president Steve Moynihan says, “The Okean product line is the perfect complement to our collection of new yacht brands. In particular, the Okean 50 offers a unique design with the open concept our motor yacht clients are looking for.”
Indeed, open is an accurate descriptor. The 50, penned by Italian designer Paolo Ferragni, has fold-out hull sides aft that increase deck space. It also allows the galley and salon, which are already open to the aft deck, to further connect to the elements via starboard-side, sole-to-ceiling window and a portside window. A swim platform and open flybridge add to the yacht’s outdoor focus.
The 50 has a three-staterooms, two-head layout with a full-beam master amidships and forepeak VIP. Abaft the VIP and to port is a stateroom with two twins. There is also a crew cabin all the way aft.
In addition to the 50, an Okean 53 express Cruiser and the 80 Luxury Motor Yacht are set to launch in 2018.
