A brand-new Arcadia 85S should make a splash at this years Cannes Yachting Festival, which runs from September 12th-17th. The Italian build is a “people-centered yacht” according to the builder, and as such she will have lots of space.
There will be 1,076-square feet of communal living space on the main deck alone. The boat will also have a skylounge that can be fully enclosed if the weather turns brisk or rainy. In addition, the yacht has photovoltaic cells that can deliver 3.5 kW of power, helping the vessel maintain a relatively small carbon footprint.
The boat will be able to take her owner on many different, far-flung adventures, thanks to her 850-nautical-mile range at 12 knots. It can also cruise ably at 16 knots, and tops out at 18, owing to power from twin 730 hp MAN diesels.
The boat is expected to be a major attraction at the star-studded show. Go give her a visit if you find yourself in France.
