Mondomarine Launches First of the Season

M/Y Ipanema, the latest in the M50 line, was launched in Savona Shipyard on June 16.

On June 16 Mondomarine launched Project M50. Now known as Ipanema, the megayacht will be the 64th delivery for the Italian shipyard based in Savona.

Ipanema is a collaboration with Italian designer Hot Lab, who is responsible for the layout, interior and exterior of the 50m yacht. There are three decks on board, including a spacious sundeck.

The interior includes full length windows to let in light and create uninterrupted views. Over a dozen different types of marbles decorate the cabins, adding to the combination of the Italian, English and French styles throughout the ship.

The delivery of M/Y Ipanema is scheduled for the end of July.
