Sperry has just released Darth Vader-inspired boat shoes for the “Star Wars” fanatic yachtsman. The new footwear comes just in time for the release of the eighth episode of the “Star Wars” saga, “The Last Jedi” .
The boat shoe has a transparent, red-colored rubber sole with Darth Vader’s mask shining through it. Sperry describes the construction through a humorous pun.
“Beneath it all lies a print of his mask for a sole as dark as his,” the company has written on the page for the shoe.
“Dark, brooding, destructive. The name of true villainy is Darth Vader. It’s only fitting to pair such genuine evil with our Authentic Original.”

Sperry used the Genuine Original design and added accents like ribbed detailing, high-gloss patent leather and suede to replicate the same aesthetic as Darth Vader’s suit of space armor. To tie it all together (literally), the lace tips are dipped in the same red color as the sole.
