The Maritimo S70 was first revealed at the 2016 Sydney International Boat Show. She’s a single-level version of the M70, which was launched in 2014.
The S70 came to life at the request of a buyer from New Zealand who is a fan of the M65, but wanted an express cruiser.
The vessel will have four staterooms and three heads, with an open salon with the helm forward. She’s built for long-range cruising. Power will be twin 900 hp Scania diesels.
“This is a big volume, serious passagemaker and the S70 will deliver all that the M65 does and more on a single level,” says Greg Haines, Maritimo’s marketing and international sales manager.
Maritimo will debut the S70 at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show in May 2017.
Estimated base price: $2.9 million
First voyage: Her owner plans on taking his new S70 on a 12-month cruise through the South Pacific.
