Galeon Yachts bound for U.S.
MarineMax has inked a deal to become the exclusive dealer in the Americas for Galeon Yachts, a Polish builder that has been in operation since 1982.
Ten Galeon models — from 38 to 66 feet length overall — will be available through MarineMax, including the Galeon 500 Fly. That model, designed by Tony Castro, has not so much foldout panels as entire foldout sides, truly blurring the line between indoors and outdoors at anchor.
“We were determined to find a brand that could successfully compete with the more affordable pleasure yachts that recently began being imported in the market,” Chuck Cashman, MarineMax executive vice president of sales, marketing and manufacturer relations, stated in a press release. “After extensive research and the recommendation of our friends at Volvo Penta, we discovered Galeon Yachts and their many satisfied customers.”
