Horizon Yachts is adding an E56XO sport yacht model to the lineup that is scheduled to debut this May at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show in Australia.
What we know so far is that the E56XO is based on Horizon’s existing E56 motoryacht’s hull form, with a 15-foot-9-inch beam. The new model adds more outdoor entertaining spaces on the aft deck as well as forward on the main deck. A lower helm is indoors, along with three staterooms.
Standard power will be twin 705 bhp Caterpillar C12 ACERT diesels offering an estimated top speed of 26 knots. Need more giddyup? Volvo Penta IPS950 engines are optional, providing a projected top hop of 32 knots.
Take a gander Down Under: For now, the E56XO target audience is Australia, but the builder says the sport yacht has global potential.
