Jeppesen’s new C-MAP MAX-N Wide cartography is now available to boaters worldwide who use Navico multifunction displays for navigation. MAX-N Wide is compatible with Lowrance Elite 7 and HDS Gen1, Gen2 and Gen2Touch, Simrad NSS, NSE and NSO, and B&G Zeus Touch units.

Some features of MAX-N Wide electronic charts include auto/easy routing, route checking and anti-grounding technology, high-resolution bathymetry for bottom-contour presentation, dynamic tides and current projection, high-resolution aerial photos for improved situational awareness, and marina facility information.

Jeppesen says that Lowrance, Simrad and B&G customers who purchase MAX-N Wide electronic charts will have an easy upgrade path to product enhancements planned for 2014. The introductory price is $179, and it will rise to $199 next year.
