Lowrance has introduced its HDS Carbon multifunction display, with 7-, 9- and 12-inch models.
The Lowrance HDS Carbon adds a high-performance dual-core processor, a multitouch SolarMAX high-definition screen, dual-channel CHIRP and the manufacturer’s Network Dual Sounder to well-known features including StructureScan 3D with SideScan and DownScan Imaging.
“HDS Carbon takes processing power to an unprecedented level with a dual-core processor that allows anglers to switch between applications and simultaneously view independent sonar feeds with ease,” the company stated in a press release.
The HDS Carbon displays are also designed to withstand higher temperatures than conventional units.
Pricing for the Lowrance HDS Carbon: $1,249 to $3,999, depending on screen size and features.
