Believe us, we’re just as frustrated as you probably are that Lexus is not revealing renderings of its forthcoming 65-foot flybridge cruiser.
We do know that it will be an evolution of the carbon-fiber concept yacht above, which is a 42-footer that Lexus said from the start would never go into production. The interest in that concept was so strong, though, that Lexus decided to create the 65.
U.S. sales of the 65 are expected to start in the second half of 2019, with construction by the Marquis-Larson Boat Group in Wisconsin. Lexus is calling the 65 a “sport flybridge cruiser” with space for entertaining as many as 15 people.
The carmaker’s mobility services platform will integrate security, smartphone, remote diagnostics, maintenance and other services aboard.
