KVH TracVision TV1
KVH recently earned a pair of product awards from the National Marine Electronics Association. One is for the TracPhone V3-IP satellite communications antenna system, and the other is for the TracVision TV1 satellite TV antenna system.
This marks the 17th consecutive year that KVH has earned NMEA praise for its satellite communications and television systems.
“Winning a NMEA award is especially meaningful because the recognition comes from skilled professionals who have firsthand experience with the installation and performance of our products, as well as those of our competitors,” Martin Kits van Heyningen, CEO of KVH, stated in a press release. “They work with our TracVision and TracPhone systems every day, and we consider their recognition as the highest honor.”
The TracPhone V3-IP is a 14.5-inch diameter Ku-band VSAT antenna that operates on KVH’s mini-VSAT Broadband network. It enables data connections up to 2 mbps on boats as small as 30 feet in length.
The TracVision TV1 is a 12.5-inch marine satellite TV system ideal for coastal cruising on smaller boats. It allows viewing of high-definition television programming with access through smartphones, tablets and computers.
