KVH Industries has created the KVH Superyacht Group, a team dedicated to serving the mobile connectivity and satellite television needs of the superyacht market.
Rhode Island-based Jim George, senior director of global leisure sales, is the new team’s leader. Three team members — Darryl Matfin as superyacht sales manager, Steve Gorman as superyacht field engineer and Roberta Dodero as superyacht account manager — are based in Fort Lauderdale.
Andrew Bush, a KVH sales manager based in Liverpool, United Kingdom, will direct KVH’s superyacht-focused efforts overseas, including in the Mediterranean.
“KVH is committed to providing a platinum-level experience for superyachts, knowing that each of these vessels has very specific needs,” George stated in a press release. “We will devote sales, technical and field-support experts to support our superyacht customers around the world.”
