One word sums up the Baglietto 48M: details.
Details like the beautifully book-matched Italian walnut paneling paired with touches of gold and bronze and Canaletto walnut soles in the lounging and dining areas. Luxurious flourishes like these are readily apparent throughout this 157-footer, which will make her stateside debut at the Miami Yacht Show and Palm Beach International Boat Show.
On both decks, the yacht has geometric shapes in the form of creamy leather on the walls and irregular wood inlays. The effect is that of a modern Manhattan penthouse. It’s at once warm yet contemporary.
The same can be said for this mega-yacht’s lines penned by Francesco Paszkowski Design. The 48M’s aesthetic blends the best of traditional and modern design into a sleek profile, a look that hearkens back to the planing yachts that made Baglietto so well-known. Note her furrowed brow created by the reverse-raked windows on the main deck, combined with her lean-forward look and fine entry. It’s aggressive. It’s chic. It’s all in the details.
A constant connection to the sea was built into her design with an abundance of floor-to-ceiling windows.
The beach club exemplifies that connection and is a point of pride for the builder. It offers 506 square feet of space to unwind in multiple ways at the water’s edge. There’s the casually cool and comfortable lounge facing straight out to sea complete with a bar. The fold-down transom creates extra sunning and seating space to entertain. Just inside from the lounge is room for a gym or massage area or, if you prefer, ask the shipyard to turn the entire beach club into a spa.
And those water toys? They stow out of the way on the foredeck, readily accessible but not using valuable living space. Details.
With nearly 3,770 square feet of luxury areas throughout her decks, the Baglietto 48M stands out for her extensive alfresco spaces. One of the best views in the house is up on the sun deck. Encompassing more than 1,506 square feet, it’s the ultimate aerie to take in your anchorage. The infinity pool positioned fully aft is certain to attract admiring glances from fellow yacht owners. Large comfortable sun pads flank it, so several guests can spend the afternoon together. In addition, thanks to the bar and dining table, you can relax and enjoy sundowners and dinner on this deck.
The Baglietto 48M is engineered for a range of 4,500 nautical miles at a 12-knot cruise. Her twin 2,250 hp Caterpillar engines also allow her to reach a top speed of 16 knots comfortably. Speaking of comfortable, the anti-roll stabilization system works while underway and at anchor.
Don’t miss the Baglietto 48M’s debut at the 2019 Miami Yacht Show, February 14 – 18 and the Palm Beach International Boat Show, March 28 – 31 2019, where those details will be on full display.
