Nouvoyage Tender 33
If you’re interested in driving into the sea, Nouvoyage is taking orders for its Limousine Tender 33. The company bills this limo as the “first-of-its-kind luxury amphibious yacht” and plans to market it to owners of superyachts. Imagine launching your tender, steaming to the nearest ramp and then motoring with 11 of your closest friends (it holds 12 passengers and 2 crew) to the opera or gala opening of the Cannes Film Festival.
Nouvoyage has applied its experience with military and commercial amphibious technology to this project. The company’s goal has been to address the lack or reliability and performance limitations caused by complex mechanical systems. This Limousine Tender 33 will have a proven diesel-electric driveline made up of a 530-horsepower Yanmar marine diesel spinning a pair of Hamilton waterjets, and for the road, a quartet of 130-horsepower Remy electric motors powers the wheels on land.
