Heesen Yachts in the Netherlands has delivered Irisha, a fully custom, 167-foot motoryacht built in aluminum.
Irisha is expected to charter this summer in the Mediterranean as part of the SuperYachtsMonaco fleet, with the yacht’s world debut scheduled for this autumn’s Monaco Yacht Show.
Harrison Eidsgaard handled exterior and interior design on the semi-displacement yacht, which comes in at less than 500 gross tons.
Irisha is based on Heesen‘s 5000 Aluminum class design, with twin MTU 16V 4000 M93L diesels that push her to a top speed of 26.1 knots, according to the builder.
At 11 knots, she has a transatlantic range of more than 3,000 nautical miles.
Irisha will make her debut at the Monaco Yacht Show in September.
Let’s talk exterior styling: The idea was to give the yacht the appearance of a fighter jet. The top is snow white, the main deck is midnight blue, and the hull is metallic pacific blue. In sunlight, the hull can look like it is painted dark olive; at night, LED lights line the profile and glow off the yacht’s glass surfaces.
