Heesen 45M Flybridge Project Necto
Heesen Yachts in the Netherlands has sold its first 45-meter flybridge, dubbed Project Necto and scheduled for delivery in January 2016.
Project Necto is expected to hit 30 knots thanks to an aluminum semi-displacement hull and a pair of MTU 16V 4000 M73L engines. At 12 knots, she’ll have a range of 2,750 nautical miles.
The exterior is by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects and will introduce a “knuckle” design element that interrupts the line of the raked bow to create what Heesen calls a “particularly aggressive look.”
Italian designer Cristiano Gatto is handling interior décor. Project Necto will be his third collaboration with Heesen. The main veneer will be Canaletto walnut, and fabrics will be Loro Piana.
The yacht will accommodate 10 guests in five staterooms, including a full-beam master on the main deck. The sundeck will be versatile with no fixed furniture, allowing the owners to do yoga in the mornings and host guests at night.
