Hatteras Yachts has expanded its sportfish line with a new bridge option for its 45-foot Express sport-fisherman.
Whether you’re looking for a better vantage point for driving of spotting marlin, or desire a full second helm station with comfortable seating, the bridge option is available. Some of the features of the upper helm station include Palm Beach-style, single-lever controls; hydraulic power-assisted steering; helm and companion seats; systems monitor display; peninsula-style stowage; and forward lounge for guests.
The main-deck layout remains the same with a lower helm station on centerline to as well as a helm and companion seat, L-shaped beach seating abaft to port and more seating in the cockpit mezzanine.
Belowdecks, the layout is one or two staterooms. In the single-stateroom (and standard) layout, there is a forepeak master with step-up island berth while abaft and to port is an L-shaped settee and table. Across is a full galley. With the two-stateroom setup, the L-shaped settee is smaller and a second stateroom is added with over-under bunks between the settee and master stateroom. In either configuration, there is a single head to starboard forward of the galley.
Power for the 45 comes from twin 715 hp Caterpillar C-12 diesels.
