The Moorings is adding new powercatamaran charters from a base in Greece for 2016.
The hub is in Zea, Greece, which is near Athens and ideal for itineraries throughout the Saronic Gulf islands. Starting in June, the new Moorings 434PC will be available there for charters of as many as 10 guests in four staterooms with two heads. The 434PC (which The Moorings calls a 433/434PC in the above video) offers indoor and outdoor relaxation areas, including a flybridge with a grill and wet bar.
Also available in Zea is the Moorings 474PC, with charter dates beginning in April. The 474PC can take as many as 12 guests in four staterooms, each en suite. This design also has a flybridge for guest enjoyment.
Zea Marina includes waterfront shops and restaurants and is near Piraeus, a longtime mainland boating base with museums and monuments. The Moorings is suggesting a seven-day itinerary from Zea that includes a visit to the Temple of Poseidon on Cape Sounion Bay, a swim inside Bekiri Cave on Spetses and a tour of the ancient Acropolis.
When to book: Reservations are being accepted now.
If you’ve already cruised in the Saronic Gulf: The Moorings also offers power yacht charters out of Corfu, Greece.
