In honor of National Fishing and Boating Week (June 5-13) many states are offering multiple days of free fishing to residents. On these given days anyone can head offshore or to their favorite secret spot to cast their lines, as licenses are not required.
“Take advantage of this great opportunity to try some fishing with the kids, there are not many free things the government still ‘gives away’ anymore,” said Steve Levi, BoatUS Angler Brand Manager.
Postpone those household chores, round up your friends, or make the kids turn off the video games and get out in search of the big one.
