Gill Schmid Design collaborated with Tim Dempers Studio to create a new design, the 90 M (295-foot) ICE-Class Explorer Yacht, Taboo. This superyacht is outfitted with a wide array of amenities for the most adventurous of yachtsmen.

“TABOO is designed for that special adventure and thrill seeking owner, who likes to explore the furthest corners of the globe with friends, family and like-minded adrenaline junkies.”

Taboo includes exploratory vessels like a plane, helicopter, submarine, amphibious car, supercar, hot air balloon and luxury tenders and water craft. Should one wish to stay close to “home,” if you will, she also has two Jacuzzis, a cocktail lounge and a beach club.

Inside, this superyacht contains a pool surrounded by aquariums for an under-the-sea feel, a gym and spa area and an optional casino aft. Additionally, Gill Schmid Design reports that she accommodates 26-plus guests and 40-plus crew.

One owner-friendly feature on this superyacht is the white, one-way glazed windows in the owner and VIP suites, as well as in other areas of the yacht. As they allow owners and guests to look out while blocking anyone else from looking in, these windows simultaneously provide full privacy and panoramic views of the yacht’s surrounding scenery.

Taboo was obviously designed with exploring in mind, but not without the means to handle onboard entertainment with gusto.
