Ferretti Yachts expects to begin production on its 780 this January in Italy. The new model is scheduled to debut in summer 2017.
The Ferretti Yachts 780 will have twin 1,400 mhp MAN engines, pushing her to an expected cruising speed of 24 knots and a top hop of 28 knots. Owners can also choose 1,550 mhp MANs for a 26-knot cruise and a 31-knot top end. Stabilizers also are optional.
Ferretti says the 780 is an evolution of the 450, 550, 700 and 850 models introduced since 2015. Design features include a beach club, a flybridge with freestanding furniture, and four en suite staterooms.
For the Asia-Pacific market: The Ferretti Yachts 850 can be ordered in a Tai He Ban version, with a layout for business entertaining as opposed to family cruising.
